It is really a shame that the HSUS has been able to lie for so long and convince so many people to give them money. It is a bigger shame that all they do with that money is line their own pockets. If you havea problme with Pet Stores, fine. Dont shop there. But please, for the love of God, do not give your money to this terrorist organization known as the HSUS. Do your research. They are a bad company. Give money to your local shelter that actually does somehting for the benefit of animals, not to a bunch of rich thugs who have found out how to steal your money on a National level.

We appreciate your opinion Steve, and we do agree that contributing to one’s local animal shelter is directly beneficial to the neighborhood.

Regarding your comments on the HSUS, we have read these exact comments on Petland’s website, and wonder if you’ve followed up on some research of your own. Our post, “Petland Responds” (http://pghpetlandprotest.wordpress.com/2009/03/18/petland-responds-to-the-lawsuit-filed-against-the-company/), addresses the rhetoric distributed by supporters of puppy mills.
